Did you know Grant Aid may be available to upgrade your
water supply?
·
(Local
Authority) Individual Supply Grant Scheme, if your house is more than
7 years old and is
not connected to a public or group scheme, grant aid is
available up to €2,031.58, for well drilling, plumbing or
filtration/ disinfection
of the supply.
·
(Local
Authority) Group Water Grant Scheme. This grant is available where
2 or more householders
come together to provide their houses or farms with
a new water supply, up to €6,475 is available for each house
on the scheme.
There is also a
subsidy available to aid in annual running and maintenance of
the scheme.
·
Rain
Water Harvesting Grant Scheme Under the “Targeted Agricultural
Modernisation Scheme” (TAMS). TAMS up to €25,000 grant
funding is available
to farms to implement efficient rain water harvesting
systems.
